PRIVACY POLICY

1. Introduction

WARRIDGE ("we", "us", "our") operates the website playwarrock.com, the associated game server, the launcher and a Discord server. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it and what rights you have. Contact for all privacy questions: [email protected].

2. Data We Collect

When you register, play and use the website, we collect:

• Username and player name
• E-mail address and whether it is confirmed
• Password (stored only as a hash, never in plain text)
• IP address and the country derived from it (for security, anti-cheat and limiting login attempts)
• Hardware ID of your PC (HWID) and the address of your network adapter (MAC) – recorded by the game server for anti-cheat and to enforce bans
• Anti-cheat detections, bans with their reason and admin actions concerning your account
• Game statistics and game content (kills, deaths, experience, Dinar, Cash, items, redeemed coupons)
• Time of your last login (game and website) and session data
• Discord data if you use the Discord login (see section 10)

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

• provide the game service and your account
• enforce the server rules, detect cheaters and prevent banned players and ban evasion
• show public leaderboards and player profiles (only player name, level, rank and statistics – never e-mail, IP or hardware data)
• send e-mails: confirming your address, password reset, changing your e-mail address and important service notices

The legal basis is providing the service you want to use (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in a safe and fair game (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Service Providers and Sharing

We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising. We use these service providers to run the service:

• Cloudflare – delivers the website and protects it against attacks, processing connection data. Cloudflare also forwards e-mails sent to [email protected] to our mailbox.
• Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) – sends our e-mails, processing your e-mail address and the content of the message.
• Discord – only if you use the Discord login or join our Discord server.

The game server and the database run on our own server.

5. Data Retention

• Account data and game progress: as long as your account exists.
• Login attempts (for rate limiting): 24 hours.
• Links in e-mails: password reset 1 hour, e-mail change 24 hours, confirmation 48 hours.
• Sessions: 30 days or until you log out.
• Bans including the related hardware data: as long as needed to enforce the ban.

You may request deletion of your account and the associated data at any time.

6. Security

We use reasonable security measures such as hashed passwords, encrypted connections (HTTPS), limits on login attempts, restricted database access and regular backups. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Children

The service is for ages 13 and up. Under 16, you may only register with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

9. Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies. They are required for the website to work and do not need consent. We do not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.

• pwr_session – keeps you logged in (30 days, or until you log out)
• lang – remembers your language (1 year)
• discord_oauth – protects the Discord login against forgery (10 minutes, only during Discord login)
• __cf_bm and similar – set by Cloudflare to protect the site against bots and attacks (up to 30 minutes)

Whether you have closed the cookie notice is stored only in your browser (local storage), not in a cookie. Fonts are served from our own server; no data is sent to Google.

10. Discord login

If you log in with Discord, Discord sends us your Discord user ID, user name and e-mail address. With your permission we also add you to our Discord server. We store the Discord ID, name and profile picture reference with your account. Your Discord profile picture is only shown on the website (profile, leaderboard) if you switch it on in your settings; you can switch it off or disconnect Discord there at any time. Discord's own privacy policy applies to your use of Discord.

11. Your Rights

You have the right to access the data we store about you, and to have it corrected, deleted or its processing restricted, to data portability, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. To do so, write to [email protected] – please from your account's e-mail address so we can check it is your account. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
